Tasuku Mitsufuji

1962 Born in Hyogo Prefecture

1980 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramic Vocational Training School

1986 Graduated from Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts

1989 Became independent in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture

2004 Moved to present location and built anagama kiln

He makes pottery in Wadayama Town in north-central Hyogo Prefecture, where the ruins of Takeda Castle, famous as "castle in the sky", are located.
He has worked as a chef himself in the past, so he creates dishes that are easy to use and beautiful when served.
He exhibits his work six times a year at galleries throughout Japan.
