Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1962
1980 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Vocational Training School
1986 Graduated from Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts
1989 Became independent in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture
2004 Moved to current location and built an anagama kiln.

He makes pottery in Wadayama-cho, in the north-central part of Hyogo Prefecture, where the ruins of Takeda Castle, famous as the castle in the sky, are located.
Having previously worked at a restaurant himself, he creates dishes for food that are easy to use and beautiful when served.

Participates in solo exhibitions at galleries around the country about 6 times a year
