Hirokazu Kato has been creating celadon-based ceramics for three generations since his grandfather, Keizan Kato.
His father, Minoru, was the model for Shozo Makita, the main character in the novel "Blue Jar".
Hirokazu himself studied not only in Kyoto, but also in Italy, and has an international perspective, expressing himself uniquely within traditional techniques.
