He places great importance on the careful work of things that do not easily appear on the surface of the pottery.
He spends a lot of time and effort in procuring raw clay, collecting and researching feldspar for glazes, and selecting firewood for firing.
He makes pieces that show the unique characteristics of Karatsu and its indigenous nature.
