Manabu Atarashi
1973 Born in Osaka
1995 Graduated from Kansai University
1999 Studied under his father,Kanji Atarashi, in Iga-Ueno, Japan
2002 Built Anagama kiln and held his first solo exhibition
2008 Built the second Anagama kiln.
2010 Built a new kiln.
2013 Awarded the 6th Contemporary Tea Ceremony Exhibition
The highlight of his works is the magnificent scarlet color and glass that give a sense of the power of the flame.
It has warmth as well as power, making it a deeply pleasing vessel.
