Kai Tsujimura

1976 Born in Nara, Japan

1994 Studied under his father, Shiro Tsujimura

2000 Built his own kiln in Sakurai, Nara

He is the second son of Shiro Tsujimura, a potter who is highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad.
His works are soft and strong, as if born directly from the clay.
He produces a wide range of pottery, including Ido, Shino, Iga, Shigaraki, Kohiki, and Karatsu, all of which are selected by many chefs since his works are excellent to serve foods with.
