1983 Opened a pottery kiln in Higashiyama, Kyoto.
1985 Received the Nippon Nangain Excellence Award
1990: Selected for the ``1990 Tea Ceremony Art for Tomorrow Exhibition'' sponsored by Tankosha. To celebrate, received a boxed letter from the 15th head of the Urasenke school, Hounsai.
