1964 Graduated from Shiga Prefectural Konan High School Ceramics Department
Entered the Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Training Institute
1970 Established anagama kiln in Kamiyama, Shigaraki Town and became independent.
1982 Winner of the Shigaraki Ceramics Exhibition Grand Prize
1985 Winner of the Seibu Ceramics Exhibition Grand Prize
1996 Received the Japan Crafts Association Kinki Award and the Shiga Prefecture Cultural Encouragement Award.
Died in 2000 (age 54)
