Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1975
1999 Moved to Tanegashima, Kagoshima Prefecture with the aim of becoming a potter.
2006 Studied under Takashi Nakazato in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture
2018 Built a wood-fired kiln in KH Wurtz, Denmark
Currently produced in Kagoshima City
Contrary to his boyish, innocent smile, his works are created in a workshop that resembles a laboratory, and while they have a Nordic atmosphere that draws on his experience in Denmark, his style is harmonious and harmonious.
The patina and red rust that are synonymous with this piece create a unique texture and expression, and the work has beautiful gradations that make it seem like the universe is expanding inside the vessel .
There are also other works that remind us of natural landscapes like a full moon or the ocean.
