Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture in 1981
2006-2010 Trained at Ayagama
2011 Built a split bamboo climbing kiln in Yatoko, Chinzei-cho, Karatsu City.

As you walk down a narrow road with a signboard that you can easily miss,
A house surrounded by plants will appear.
I make pottery using a split bamboo-style climbing kiln that I built myself on land surrounded by greenery and no neighbors.

Mr. Togawa has a quiet, kind and gentle personality.
The work also has the gentleness and warmth of the earth, and is a vessel that gently receives food.
