After training at his family's kiln, Houjugama, he studied under Shiro Banura.
1995 Opened his own kiln at his current location
2007: Solo exhibition in Los Angeles, U.S.A.
Mr. Yamamoto creates pottery in his studio in the rich natural environment of Takeo City, Saga Prefecture.
The more we use his work, the more the refined, metallic texture of his gen-glaze ware changes to a more moist texture.
His dignified and atmospheric vessels have been well received by hotels and restaurants.
